Installation · Applicator partnership

The system comes from Rayson. The installation comes from the right applicator.

Rayson formulates and specifies its coating materials in Singapore; they are made to that specification by its production partners, and every batch is tested and released in Singapore. Rayson quotes installation jobs, and applicators in its network carry them out. We review the substrate and operating duty before confirming the system direction and installation capability required.

01 · Choose your route

One system. Two very different needs.

Project teams need a clear route to competent installation. Applicators need useful manufacturer support. The page separates those journeys instead of making both audiences search through the same long explanation.

01 Owner · Consultant · Facility team

I have a site that needs to be coated.

Send the surface photos, area, current condition and work window. Rayson reviews the technical starting point, quotes the job, and subcontracts it to an applicator from its network whose equipment and experience suit the project.

  • Assess the substrate first
  • Define a preliminary system route
  • Match the installation capability
02 Flooring · Waterproofing · Protective-coating applicator

I install coating systems for a living.

If your team prepares surfaces properly, works inside published TDS parameters and scopes projects honestly, we want to understand your capability and reference work.

02 · From site to installation

Ask the technical questions before quoting the job.

A useful quotation is more than a price per square metre. It should define the substrate, exposure, system route and who owns each part of the work.

  1. 01
    Site brief

Photos, area, surface condition, operating exposure and available work window.

  2. 02
    Rayson review

Check moisture, contamination, cracks, traffic, chemistry and slip duty first.

  3. 03
    System direction

Use the open TDS to define layers, conditions and stated limitations.

  4. 04
    Applicator match

Match the job to equipment, crew, experience and the hours the site allows.

03 · Trust needs a clear boundary

Rayson owns the contract and the material. The applicator owns the site execution.

When Rayson quotes the job, Rayson is the contracting and invoicing party, and its quotation states the material warranty, the workmanship warranty and the exclusions. In an HDB flat, HDB's rules let only a contractor on its Directory of Renovation Contractors take on renovation work, so there a listed applicator quotes and contracts with you directly.

01 / RAYSON

Rayson is responsible for

  • The quotation, the contract and the workmanship warranty
  • Product formulation and batch release
  • Technical data, system review and product compatibility
  • Material-related technical support during the work
02 / APPLICATOR

The applicator from the network is responsible for

  • Site survey, labour, equipment and safety
  • Surface preparation and physical installation
  • Site execution planning and progress
  • Installation records and site handover

You may use your own competent applicator and buy the material direct. Having Rayson quote the installation is an option, not a condition of buying the material.

04 · Partnership criteria

We look at working practice before the company profile.

This is not a certification or third-party accreditation. It is a manufacturer–applicator partnership programme being built around real capability and real project work.

01

Surface preparation

Explain how the crew handles grinding, shot blasting, dust control, moisture and contamination.

02

Work to the TDS

Respect consumption, conditions, coats and overcoat windows—and call before working outside them.

03

Transparent scope

State the repair, preparation, system layers and exclusions clearly in the quotation.

04

Traceable records

Keep simple records of batch, location, date, quantity and site exceptions.

05 · Evidence before the quotation

Open data keeps client and applicator on the same numbers.

Every Rayson technical data sheet can be read before a sales conversation. Applicators can check consumption, conditions and limits; project teams can use the same evidence to review the proposed scope.

Current arrangement

For now, applicators are matched project by project.

The public applicator directory is still being developed. We will not publish names, logos or testimonials before there is a real technical working relationship. In the meantime, each job is matched to the site and the capability required.

06 · Common questions

Know the boundary before sending the project.

Does Rayson arrange flooring or waterproofing installation?

Rayson formulates and specifies its coating materials in Singapore; they are made to that specification by its production partners, and every batch is tested and released in Singapore. Rayson quotes installation jobs, and applicators in its network carry them out. Waterproofing projects need a review of the site problem, scope and partner capability; send the project details for an initial assessment.

Does Rayson guarantee the workmanship?

When Rayson quotes and contracts the job, its quotation states the workmanship warranty, its term and its exclusions, as well as the material warranty. In an HDB flat, the listed contractor quotes and warrants its own workmanship. When you buy material only, Rayson's warranty covers the material and your applicator warrants the work.

Can I use my own contractor?

Yes. Rayson can supply and support any suitably capable applicator. Having Rayson quote the installation is an option, not a condition of purchasing Rayson material.

How do I request a materials-only or supply-and-installation quotation?

Tell us whether you need materials only or a Rayson quotation for supply and installation, together with the area, substrate condition and work window. The scope must account for preparation, system thickness, labour, equipment and access. Confirm the supply, installation and contract arrangements before accepting a quotation.

What should an applicator include when applying?

Company information, years installing, systems handled, own crew and equipment, service areas, typical project size and reference projects that can be discussed.

Is there a public directory now?

Not yet. The directory is being developed; applicators are matched case by case against the site duty and installation capability.

Are you an experienced applicator?

Let us understand how your team works.

Share the crew, equipment, system experience and reference work. A partnership starts with one real, verifiable technical conversation.
