Rayson SealForce · Waterproofing membranes
Rayson SealForce AC10 is a one-part, water-based acrylic waterproofing membrane for exposed roofs, old roof tiles and external walls — applied cold, straight from the pail, by brush, roller or airless spray, and drying to a seamless, elastic, UV-resistant film.
SealForce AC10 is Rayson's one-part acrylic roof membrane: a modified acrylic dispersion in water, applied cold and straight from the pail, with no hardener to weigh and no heat or flame on the roof. It dries to a seamless, elastic film that stays exposed — resistant to UV, mould and fungus, and permeable to water vapour, so moisture in the substrate can escape through it.
Standalone coating.

| Surface preparation | All surfaces must be sound, clean and dry, free of dust, loose and friable material, oil, grease, laitance and coatings that are not firmly bonded. Prepare concrete mechanically to an open-textured profile; new concrete at least 28 days old. Fix loose roof tiles, replace broken or missing ones and pressure-wash. Abrade metal to a bright finish and prime it against corrosion. Brick and stone need sound mortar joints, preferably flush-pointed. Repair defects first and let the repairs cure; prime concrete, render, masonry and tiles with Rayson SealForce AP05, and confirm adhesion with a small trial. |
|---|---|
| Mixing / dilution | One part, ready to use — applied directly from the pail |
| Application method | Brush, Roller, Airless spray |
| Coverage | Approximately 0.7–0.8 kg/m² per coat; a 20 kg pail covers about 25–28 m² per coat — about 12–14 m² at two coats (roof coating) or about 8–9 m² at three coats (reinforced roof waterproofing), before allowances for porosity, surface profile and wastage |
| Application conditions | Air and substrate between +10 °C and +35 °C; relative humidity at most 75%; substrate and uncured film at least 3 °C above the dew point. Substrate moisture at most 5% by weight, with no rising moisture. Protect each coat from rain, damp and condensation until dry. Not for roofs with long-term ponding water or for direct pedestrian traffic. |
| Drying & curing | Allow 6–24 hours between coats, cleaning the surface before the next coat if longer; where reinforcing fleece is bedded into the first coat, allow at least 6 hours before the second. Drying takes longer where air movement is restricted; protect each coat from rain, damp and condensation until dry |
| Recoat interval | 6–24 hours between coats; if longer, clean the surface before the next coat. At least 6 hours after the reinforcing fleece is bedded into the first coat. Longer where air movement is restricted. |
| Film / thickness | About 0.7–0.8 kg/m² per coat. Roof coating: two coats. Reinforced roof waterproofing: three coats, with polyester fleece bedded into the first. |
| Pack sizes | 20 kg pail |
| Storage | Store in original, unopened, undamaged and sealed packaging in dry conditions, away from direct sunlight and frost. |
| Shelf life | Approximately 12 months unopened, in original packaging. |
